This is an easy everyday look, that can be vamped up for the evening. It’s also a look that is a little bit different and right on trend; ‘morning after eyes’ were seen on the catwalk alot for AW12, with designers such as Marc Jacobs, Gaultier and Alexander Wang showcasing their designs with a smokey worn in eyemakeup.

 1. As always groom the brows, conceal where needed and apply a neutral creamy base. I used MAC Paints in Sublime Nature.

2. Apply a pencil eyeliner into the roots of the top lashes. Then apply more heavily into the the bottoms lashes, using a small brush to blend the product out.

 3. Apply a light shimmer pink eyeshadow to the eyelid, blending out and up towards the eyebrow. Then apply a dark charcoal eyeshadow underneath the lashes on top of the pencil. Curl and then apply mascara to the top and bottom lashes.

4. Apply a little soft brown eyeshadow to the outer corners of the eye, just to give the lid and crease some definition. Apply a more of the charcoal colour but with a soft fluffy brush, so it goes on lightly. I re-curled the lashes to really open the eyes up and make the look extra pretty, be careful when you do this, as if you have already applied mascara, you can accidently pull lashes out!
