There is so much beautiful on trend makeup in this months Elle Magazine (August 12, UK Edition).
The above shot is for me a mixture of both Spring Summer and Autumn Winter looks. The bright orange colour is perfect for summer but its also bang on trend for AW12 with bright eyes being scattered across many key shows. In Elle makeup artists Sharon Dowsett, describes how to recreate the look with one colour, using it across the lips, cheek and eye! Such a good tip, whatever the season and whatever the colour.
I love, love, love this shot, probably beacuse pastel yellow is one of my favourite colours and you don’t see it too much in makeup. Canary yellow across and up the entire of the eye is a bit of a bold move, but it can be easily toned down for a more wearable look, again this is perfect for holiday, summer makeup but transcends seamless into AW12 for that bright eyes trend.
No on trend makeup shoot is complete without a statement brow in one form or another…Blue eyebrows, I like!!!
