Since blogging about this look a couple of weeks ago, I couldn’t help but do a step by step guide on recreating the makeup. This look is so pretty, easy to do and really wearable.
Step 1
Start with groomed brows and concealed under eye. I used YSL’s Touche Eclat underneath the eye and also on the lid so I had extra radiance across the eye area. On top of the Touche Eclat I used my concealer so the area is perfected and ready to go.
Step 2:
I applied MAC Cream Colour Base in Pearl to the lid, this will help to give a soft golden colour with a creamier texture than an eye shadow. On top of the Cream Colour Base, I lightly dusted Nars’s Night Star (a light peachy colour with specks of gold) for some soft warmth. I then began to add colour to the curve of the socket. I used a little of Bobbi Brown’s Toast eyeshadow (a peachy colour) and MAC’s Sushi Flower (bright pink). I used a fluffy blending brush so that each application of colour was light and blended. Take the peachy ad pink colour slightly underneath the lower lash.
Step 3:
Lastly apply a skin coloured eyeliner to the inner rim of the bottom waterline. I used MAC Chromagraphic Pencil in NC15/NW20, this can be bought from their Pro Stores and is such a useful product to have (great for getting rid of redness in the rims of your eyes that make you look tired!) This gives a bright wide eyed look and compliments the colours used on the eyes. Finish with curled lashes and lots of mascara.
